The TOO SLO Chapter of CTTC is involved in many activities and events throughout the year.  The local chapter not only holds it Annual Turtle, Tortoise & Reptile Show in September but also participates in many other events.  Check this page for additions, changes, and updates.

Sept. 2^nd & Sept. 9^th 6pm - 9pm Thursday Night Farmer's Market in downtown San Luis Obispo.  These evenings are a great opportunity to promote our annual show, which is Saturday, September 11th!  If you are interested in helping at the farmer's market, please call Denise at 805/528-5740.

Sat. Sept. 11^th 10am - 4pm  19^th Annual Turtle, Tortoise, & Reptile Show
at the SLO Vet's Hall -- 801 Grand Ave, San Luis Obispo.  This is our chapter's major annual club activity.  It is our BIG chance to educate the public about the captive care of turtles, tortoises, and reptiles as well as conversation issues related to these species in their native habitats.  And it fun to show off our animals, too!  We need lots of help.  We will also need one or two people to hand out flyers at the I Madonnari Chalk Art Festival in downtown SLO.  Another opportunity for community involvement!  Please get involved & call Denise at 805/528-5740 or 805/748-5386. 

Sat. Oct. 2^nd 12pm - 2pm  Live! At the Museum
at The Natural History Museum in Santa Maria located at 412 S McClelland St.  We will have a live animal display and members will dispense captive care and conservation information about reptiles as well as disperse information about the TOO SLO Chapter of CTTC. 

Sat. Oct. 9^th 10am - 3pm  3^rd Annual Dogtoberfest
at the Atascadero Lake Park in Atascadero.  We will have an informational booth at this event.  This is a fun day for dogs & turtles/tortoises alike.
