Sept. 8th The guest speaker this month is Don Williams from the Kern Chapter of CTTC. He will be giving a presentation about Gopherus agassizii (Desert Tortoise) as he has extensive knowledge about this species. We will also be discussing our final plans for our 19th Annual Turtle, Tortoise, & Reptile Show to be held on Saturday, September 11th.
Oct. 13th This our annual Election Night! Our President Johnny Rodriguez is relocating north so our Vice-President Ray Suydam will be running for President. Johnny thank you for all your years of service to TOO SLO. Lola McAulay will continue as Secretary. Thank you both. We still are in need of a Vice-President and Treasurer. Jeanie McCombs has done an excellent job as Treasurer and is eager to help train a new person for this position. It's not as had as it sounds, so please don't be afraid to get involved. Without you, we cannot be a club. There maybe a program as well - yet to be determined so please check back later.
Nov. 10th This monthly meeting program will be a round table discussion on hibernation, as well as, any other concerns.
Dec. 8th This is our annual Holiday Potluck & Party. The Club will furnish the ham & turkey, table service, & some drinks. Please bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to share. Remember a serving utensil. We will also have a gift exchange. The gift should be turtle/tortoise related (no live animals) in the $5 - $20 range. We will party at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church -- 1344 Nipomo St (@ Pismo St) in San Luis Obispo. Hope to see you there!
